The Open University Annual Academic Sessions 2013 will be held on 27th and 28th November 2013. These Sessions are intended to be a forum to enable academics and researchers both within and outside the Open University to present and discuss their research and work in progress in a range of disciplines and get feedback from colleagues and peers.
The Committee is pleased to invite academics and researchers to submit their research findings in the form of extended abstracts to be presented at the Sessions.

Call for Papers:
The Open University is pleased to call for papers to be presented at the Annual Academic Sessions to be held in 2013 . Those who expect to present papers should submit an extended abstract of 03 to 04 pages of A4 size paper on or before the deadline of July 31, 2013.

Registration Fees:
No registration fee will be charged from the academic staff and students of OUSL.
Others who wish to attend or present papers are required to pay a registration fee of Rs. 2000/=.

About
The Open University of Sri Lanka, which celebrated 30 years in 2010 with an international conference, is the only national university which offers a wide range of academic programmes of study through the ODL mode, with particular emphasis given to Distance Learning. Further, the university prides itself on its flexibility and access in a time of competitiveness in the fi eld of higher education, offering certifi cate, diploma, degree and postgraduate degree programmes in a wide range of courses via four faculties, i.e. Humanities and Social Sciences, Education, Engineering Technology and Natural sciences. OUSL has been conducting its Annual Academic Sessions since 2007. A significant number of papers that contribute to high quality research and national development in a wide variety of fi elds have been presented and discussed. The peer reviewed extended abstracts have been published as proceedings of the Annual Academic Sessions.
